Oil Farm

Buy a miner with BARREL, keep its power topped up, and it earns you two streams at once: OIL from trade fees, and BARREL from the farm's emission rate.

Tiers

Cost, hashpower, and power capacity are locked into a miner at the moment you buy it. Changing a tier's settings later never touches miners you already own.

What a bigger tier actually buys you

Hashpower is a miner's share weight. Your cut of both reward streams, the OIL fee stream and the BARREL emission stream, is simply your share of all currently active hashpower on the farm. Power is fuel: it drains at a fixed rate while a miner runs, and hits zero if you never refill it.

A miner's power drains in direct proportion to its hashpower, so the reward you earn per BARREL of fuel is the same whichever tier you run. That one is guaranteed by the contract itself, not by how the tiers happen to be priced.

The tiers on offer are also priced at a matching cost per hashpower, shown on every card below so you can check it rather than take our word for it. A higher tier costs proportionally more and burns through its power proportionally faster, in step with that cost. What it buys you is a proportionally bigger fuel tank, so you refill less often. It is a bigger stake with less upkeep, not a better rate.

Clean up the field

A miner whose power hit zero keeps counting toward total hashpower until something settles it. That understates every active miner's real share. Anyone can clear it, for anyone, in one transaction.

Nothing to clean up right now. No counted miner has silently run out of power.

Poking someone else's miner can never take anything from it. Any rewards it had already earned stay claimable by its real owner alone.
